May the minds of my readers be as a clean canvas. May they be free from taint and preconception, and ready to accept and embrace the ideas to which I share with the world.
May my heart be poured into my lines, as the ink pours from the pen as I write.
May every curve, every stroke, every curl of my writing be as the paintbrush upon the clean canvas of the reader's mind. May these curves combine and meld to form the bright, vivid word painting that I have already completed in my own heart.
May these words be cherished. May they be remembered and echoed throughout the ages--not as a means to better myself, but to heal, help, entertain, or enlighten those who read my work in this life and the next.
